We ship six days a week but due to carrier limitations many orders are given to carriers Monday - Friday and their tracking may not update for 24 hours after the label has been created.
USPS shipping - Orders shipped via USPS will be picked up during our normal route time. UPS shipping - Orders are dropped off at our local UPS Store location. FedEx shipping - Order are dropped off at our local FedEx location.
I received an email saying my order has shipped. Where is it?
We recommend using the Carrier website to track your order as they are the most up to date shipping. We use United States Postal Service, UPS and FedEx in general to identify a tracking number please review below.
USPS tracking numbers are 22 digits long within the US outside the US they often start with L and CP UPS tracking numbers start with 1Z FedEx tracking numbers are typically 12 digits
How long will it take for me to get my order?
This will depend on which shipping option you have chosen. Below are estimates based upon the time it typically takes for orders to arrive in these areas but are not guarantees.
USPS First Class - This option is the slowest and typically takes 7 -1 0 business days but can take longer during times that USPS is overwhelmed. USPS Priority - Typically takes 2-3 business days but can take longer during times that USPS is overwhelmed. USPS Priority Express - USPS's fastest option with transit times between overnight and 2 days. We will get the order to the local Post Office by end of day if ordered before 10 am EST. If after 10 am EST we will get your order dropped off by 10 am EST the following day. This is the only USPS option that has a money-back guarantee.
UPS Surepost - This option combines the reliable long distance transport with the friendly carrier from your local Post Office. Transit times take typically 4-5 business days this method is subject to delays when USPS is overwhelmed. UPS Ground - Transit times are typically 1 - 5 business days according to the UPS website. Does not automatically include Saturday delivery. UPS 2 day Air - Typically transit time is 2 business days. Does not automatically include Saturday delivery.
FedEx SuperSaver -up to 8 business days. FedEx Ground - 1 - 7 business days.

I don't like the color can I exchange or return?
Currently due to health and safety reasons we are not allowing exchanges or returns at this time.
I am allergic to a fiber can you help me avoid it?
Yes, we understand sensitivity and allergies to certain fibers and when informed we will ensure the order packers do not come in contact with these fibers. Typically when we pack orders we will pack orders placed in order of these fibers: Acrylic, Nylon, Cotton, Bamboo, Rayon, Lyocell, Hemp, Alpaca, Wools such as Cashmere, Merino and Wool.
When will my pattern be shipped?
All of our patterns are for digital download and are available via your email. Weebly (our website host) will automatically send you an email with directions to download your pattern.
I am unsure about the color of a yarn. Can you help me determine the color?
We are glad to send pictures with known household items in the picture to help you determine a color. We understand that every monitor will display a color differently and recommend following your monitor's manufacturer's directions for color calibration.
How fast will my order ship?
We strive to get all orders out to the carriers within 1 business day. Your order will also contain tracking. The best site we have found for tracking international orders has been parcelsapp.com/en For special orders please allow time for products to be delivered from the manufacturer.
My shipping notification says my item was delivered but I can't find it what do I do?
1. To check with neighbors to see if the package was left with them either on purpose or by accident. 2. To check with family members – it is not unheard of that someone else in the household will pick up the package and put it somewhere out of plain sight 3. To ask the delivery postal worker where he/she left the package. 4. Call their local post office to see if it sitting there. 5. Please notify us if the above have not resolved the issue. When notified we will call the post office and receive the geo coordinates of the delivery. The package is considered delivered by both the post office and Ohio Yarn when the package has arrived at the secure location that the customer has provided. 6. All packages have insurance in case of loss or damage while in transport. Delivery scan signals completed service.
My item arrived damaged
Should an item arrive damaged please keep all packaging materials. USPS often requires the packaging and items be taken into the Post Office for inspection. Photograph both the item over all with it's packaging and up close of the damaged area. Do not send item back without prior communication the post office will not cover any damages under the insurance should you send it back.
My order is being shipped to the wrong address.
Our payment services require us to ship to the address provided at check out. Please verify your address when placing your order as once your order is in the hands of the carrier I am unable to do anything. In limited cases you may be able to call the carrier and intercept your package.
Are you still open?
We will still pack and ship orders are they arrive provided your carrier of choice (United State Postal Service, UPS, or FedEx) are still open to receive your package.
